According the Farmer’s Almanac, the East coast is to get a cold and snowy winter, but according to this wooly worm, not so much. I think I’ll go by his prediction of winter this year!
This is dedicated to all those living on the East Coast hoping for a mild winter this year!

It is my hope to always bring out something good and positive in all that I do! Despite our outward differences of faith, religion, culture, or even global location, one thing we all as humans embrace is a sense of acceptance, and belonging. Our art is an expression of who we are and a language that needs no words. It is my hope that my work depicts all that is loving and positive in which to edify others. I give all my thanks to my God who has uniquely and wonderfully created us in His image.

I’ve heard the same thing – anytime the caterpillar is that wooly – it’s going to be a heavy winter. Good luck!!!

  • Thanks Barb, we always judged them by the brown stripe and this is wide. If they are mostly black then it’s going to be bad. But either way, I hope it comes and goes quickly!

I was told woolly caterpillars meant a harsh winter – guess it depends where you live

  • I was always told it goes by the width of the stripes, he has a big brown and less black which means not so bad, but I just heard on the radio snow in the higher elevations! What???
