Sony Cyber Shot DSC H3
spring 2009
Penfield, Pennsylvania

Last spring while hiking down by the lake at Parker Dam state park, I happened to see this wood spider in the water. My husband put this stick in for it to grab onto. I got this picture as he was climbing out.

We ought to hear one little song every day, read a good poem, see a first-rate (photograph), and if possible speak a few sensible words.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

It is my hope to always bring out something good and positive in all that I do! Despite our outward differences of faith, religion, culture, or even global location, one thing we all as humans embrace is a sense of acceptance, and belonging. Our art is an expression of who we are and a language that needs no words. It is my hope that my work depicts all that is loving and positive in which to edify others. I give all my thanks to my God who has uniquely and wonderfully created us in His image.

I hope Carl didn’t see this this close…lol Very neat find and great capture.

  • He’s the one that got the stick to get it out of the water. He doesn’t get real close though and I did zoom in on this. I’m not that fond of spiders either to be honest. ;>
