“Now learn the parable from the fig tree; when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near;” Matthew 24:32
When the fig branch ‘puts forth its leaves’, only a short time remains until summer. Likewise, when the final labor pains begin, Christ’s return ‘is near, right at the door’ (vs. 33)
We don’t know the time or the hour in which Christ will return to take His Bride home, which is why the Bible tells us that today is the day of salvation. We are not promised a tomorrow and by waiting we just might miss our opportunity to be saved unto eternal life. There is no time like the present to answer the door of your heart if you hear that knock. Open it and let Christ come in.
