God is True!

In a world where there seem to be no absolute truths, God is the living Truth! Without absolutes we as a people will fail to understand His standards. We are adopting beliefs that are contradictory to God’s Truth. We want to glorify sin and call it something else and we become tolerant, but God does not change and sin is still sin no matter how we perceive it. There are not 50 shades of gray in life, it is either black or white and in the end, God is always right and true and it is we who will have to stand and give an account for our lives. I always say that if we don’t stand for something, we will fall for anything! I pray this will bless you today! Viv

God is True!

Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true.
As the Scriptures say about Him, “You will be proved right in what You say.” Romans 3:4

Either God is all-powerful or He is not…
If He is not, we are sunk;
If He is, we have nothing to fear.

Either God is all-knowing or He is not…
If He is not, we better figure out what is best for us;
If He is, we can be confident He will not make a mistake with our lives.

Either God is all-present or He is not…
If He is not, we need to find a way to protect and take care of ourselves;
If He is, we can be assured His eye is upon us, His hand is with us, and the covering of His wings is over us.

Either God is the Father of mercies or He is not…
If He is not, we should work hard to find a way to appease His wrath;
If He is, we can, by faith, receive the forgiveness He has provided for us through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

    Thanks for sharing. We have become so desensitized to sin that I fear that we as a nation have become like the frog placed in the water, and as the temperature was raised he didn’t notice, even when it boiled. We put labels on things to make them OK in our own eyes, but we need to check what the Word of God says. You are so right, if we don’t stand for something, we will fall for anything.

  • I like that analogy of the frog and yes, that’s what we are becoming, desensitized to what is morally right, and everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes…but that’s not God’s way. Just like He did in Judges, He gave them all what they wanted…and they were taken captive and put under the rule of many pagen nations for their disobedience. Who says history doesn’t repeat itself??? Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    There are at least 7 billion people, and if there were not One Eternal Truth, then there would be billions of different ideas about what is The Truth. I love that there is One Eternal Truth. I love that God gave us His Word, to know what that Truth Is. It would be terrible to have to grope around like a blind man for somebody else’s truth. Everything can’t be True, and there are not a lot of different ways to The Father, nor does God have names that are not in His Word. The Word which has withstood the test of time, is True. Even when I fall short, I would rather fall short, and know that I am falling short, than to change The Truth to make myself feel better. It is better to know the Truth and feel bad, then to believe a lie to feel better temporarily. Thank-you for these posts.

  • Very well said!!!
