The Rose is Maud Fealy. She played the part of Juliette in Henry Irving’s production of Romeo and Juliette in London at the turn of the twentith century. The image is from my own collection. Image created in Photoshop, textures and overlays by myself, layers, blending and lighting.
I guess if its about anything at all the image represents the fleetingness of youth, soon gone and remembered as an ever fading memory.
