Abstract IV

UF 5.03

One of a series of abstracts I made a while ago and didn’t know where to post, none of the abstract groups seemed suitable, but now we have fractal abstracts, yippee!
This piece is quite architectual in its feel and is imspired by city landscapes. I have attempted to give the image an ambience of life in a city.
This image was constructed with the following over 18 layers

Barnsley J Delux (UF4),ea.ufm
Truchet Tiles.sam.ucl
Conic Range Lite.lkm.ucl
Clipping.standard.uxf

WOW! You did this with Ed Algra’s Barnsley formula?? He’d be so proud of you! (I know him from Renderosity) His formulas are, at least to me, hard to work with, and take a fair bit of tinkering around with in order to get used to them, though I have used this one before, myself. But you’ve also used outside colorings I’ve never tried – maybe it’s time I tried those too, lol! Extremely well done, to say the least! I can well imagine how difficult this must have been to achieve – and if you found it easy, do you give lessons?? (grin)

And by the way, I don’t think you ever found the piece I put up for you recently, in my gallery…..it’s got your name out by the title…….(hugs)….just a “thank you” for the inspiration of your Seahorse Valley pieces!

  • Found your piece and it is gorgeous, thanks for the comments on this one, I’ve let this one develop over a number of months, funny how some take longer to brew lol. I like playing around with different combinations of formula and outside colouring, some times it can be very rewarding other times just frustrating. :-)
