    Rising from the concrete,
    A solidness in this shape,
    Texture rough to the touch,
    Decidedly purposeful,
    Functional at its most basic,
    A flash, nothing more, to split the night,
    But enough, it was, to light,
    The rock, the wave,
    The Crashing of water,
    Upon this rusty blade,
    One good scrape,
    All it would need,
    And another hull down,
    Upon this crystal sea.
