field
Aerial view of a ploughed farm field, it’s curious why these agricultural marks such as plough marks, mown crops etc. on the land should attract interest, the farmer can’t see them or probably be even aware he’s made them, the photographer can’t really take credit exept for being in the right place, they are not “hidden ” in the clutter and need a skilled eye to reveal them, they don’t count for any social comment, they are just attractive and interesting compositions that appear for no reason and there’s many out there, so I’ve included a few more.

Clever observations Victor, but they are interesting nonetheless. Although they are not hidden, it is only a limited group of lucky people who get to see them, so it is of great interest to the rest of us.

really? is that for real???!!! awesome shot, It almost looks like it’s painted, then i thought it was a wood grain pattern or something, but this is just awesome shot!!! the small circles around it is great!
The photographer i think plays a big important role in taking this picture in the right framing and composition to make it look more interesting than it is, I for one could easily miss it even if I can see it. You must have really good eye!

Just sensational – I’m in awe of your work Victor!

Thanks, Niel, kookylane, Paul, and Nicole, with your kind enthusiasm, I’m starting to see what I thought were some of my more pedestrian images in a new light.

Composition, balance and a designers eye… you have it all, I would like to put all your work into my favourites. If I start teaching again, I’ll get my students to study your work and hopefully spur them on to “think different” before they press the shutter and use the crop tool.

Great image, I love these abstract images from above, I see them but never seem to have my camera at the right time. Well done.
