Nicely constructed Victor… juts love the space you’ve put these wonderful planes in. The movement, hint of sun and atmosphere are perfect. Great piece of work. Bet you had a whole lotta satisfaction putting this together, and it shows! Great art mate!
victor
Naa! didn’t put it together Paul. I was there !!, in the other Messerschmitt, with my trusty Lieca.

Wow!!! It looks painted. Wonderful!!!!
How can you fly and shoot at the same time? hey is that a man’s shadow falling in the distance?
J.K. York

Thank you all for your comments, I was unsure how a “boys own” image like this would go in an Art site, ....and Kookylane, ...thats wot us fighter pilots are trained to do, shoot and fly at the same time !! , plus how to Bryllcream our hair and undo our top shirt button, Naaa.. its all a mixture of illustration and photo combined in Photoshop.

Man! You had me going!... (thought you might know some guys who go out with their Tommahawks and Messerschmitts for fun dogfights and bailing out!)... that brings me to… Love the guy jumping out in mid air… adds that much needed touch of humanity.

You had me going as well Victor – at least with the Brylcream…. just love this image mate. Ripper! Ever been to Pima air museum in Toucson, Arizona – just like heaven!

My Dad used to fly Spits, he’s a bit ancient now but he would love this. He shot about 20 confirmed 109’s and Dorniers down before he got shot down and had to ditch in the English Channel. Beautiful picture mate!

thanks Andrew, and thanks for the history, they were an amazing generation of airmen in control of beautiful and dynamic flying machines who lived through fascinating moments
