Life has a way of twisting, turning and presenting many different opportunities to us. Some soft, some hard, some easy and some very hard. And often we can be measured by our ability to handle any such situation, realising of course, that we have to face the emotions and feelings that are twisted and torn apart within us by any such emotional experience. We cannot unlearn to ride a bike. We cannot know how to handle a situation if we have never had to before. That is what life is all about. An old saying that my parents used to say to us was you cannot put an old head on young shoulders And, thank your lucky stars we can’t. That would remove so much fun out of the life. We need to experience it with fresh eyes, innocence and joy, and really soak up and feel the emotions that come with what we learn and have the honour and privilege of experiencing.
