THE MISSING THONG ©
Vicki Ferrari

Just a bit of fun with a bit of story that I hope you might find amusing! The Importance of Aussie Thongs

This image was designed with a friend in mine, a very funny story about how he liked wearing his thongs only! He even bought me my own pair so I wouldn’t use his! He was very particular about this! This led to many amusing incidents, of course!! I am still laughing about some of the unplanned and oh so funny events that will live long in my memory!

And, especially if you live in the country, how many pairs of thongs are at your back door? Especially when you have lots of visitors and a big family? Or have bindies where the clothes line is…. I am sure there are many people out there who can visual a mound of thongs at the back, or front, door. And, of course, they must be double plugged so that they last a long time… no single plugs, noooo!

And for those with that droll humour bug, I am sure you can imagine how many amusing incidents and practical jokes ensued once it was known how precious someone’s thongs actually were?!! i.e The Missing Thong

I hope this gives you a laugh!

As a footnote, these are a photo (and a collage of) the actual thongs that were bought for me by my friend!! That was years ago, I still have and it seems like they will outlast the planet! Always buy double-plugged!

We call them “flip-flops”, but years ago when I lived in another part of the U.S. I remember they were called “thongs”. LOL! How funny that you reminded me of that by this creation. I love my “thongs”; and always keep a pair at the door just in case. Do you have a pair of red polka-dot thongs Vicki? Every “thong girl” needs a pair of red and white polka-dot thongs! ROTFL!

  • LOL! No, just plain old black ones (the very ones in the picture!)!:) Double thonged, last forever!! I use to have a pair at each door at one stage but have given that up!! Now I only have about two pairs!! Glad you got a giggle Terri! You gave me the giggles too!! Vicki :))

LOL – Great composition! I just love that story and tried to imagine it. You’ve got a great way of describing things:-) Here you’re more likely to find winter boots piled outside the door at this time of year:-)
