Where once was home… always appreciate what you have while you have it… take the time to smell the roses… walk in the moonlight… walk as far as you can without seeing anyone… be at peace with yourself for if you don’t have that, you don’t have anything….
I have been told that this house is no longer lived in, and has become unlivable and is falling down… a bit sad really but that is life… we move on, that is life… we always have our memories… no one can take that away from us…

Wonderful words, Vicki and so true. Sad that this house is now in such a poor state but you still have your happy memories. Your dream-like processing fits here so well.

Vicky, a stunning piece of work. Don’t you often wonder what the life was like in these old tumbling down buildings. I have often walked into them and felt like I have invaded someones privacy. As if their living soles are still there. You have created wonderful light and a fantastic sky….....Sandy
Vicki Ferrari replied
LOL! I DID live here Sandy!! I have made it look a little more ramshackle than what it was but it was still fairly old at the time – we knew it when it rained!! But I guess you meant back when it was built, aye?! And yes, it would have been v.interesting then as there had been quite a few changes made to it by the time we lived there – and while we were there, there was even an indoor loo installed, with septic! That was nice!! But be careful what you flush…. lol
Thanks Sandy!! :))

Gorgeous image, really aggree with what your saying..When I get my first house I shall certainly be remembering it!
Vicki Ferrari replied
Thank you Laurav!! It was a peaceful place, 2,500 acres… no near neighbours! Nice and quiet! And you could listen to loud music without disturbing anyone!!! And you didn’t need a doorbell because you would hear cars drive up!! A long time ago now but I will never forget the essence of the place here! Ta again! :)
Tenee Attoh
A wonderful capture of life as it is, the house , the home and the past captured under this fantastic sky. Yes when you take the heart out of the house it falls apart, finally when you remove the soul , it dies. This is a wonder peace of work, one that gets you thinking of your own yesterday. Well done
Vicki Ferrari replied
Thanks Tenee! Your words mean a lot to me, ta! :))
Grant Middleditch
Hi Viki, plenty of passion and mixed with the image of a farm house slowly disappearing. I really liked the combination.
