This big giant provides shade in the late afternoon sun for these two upturned coracles along the bank of the Cauvery river.

Would have spent more time here, but a few big splashes in the water (which have tiny crocs), made me wonder about the crocs I had perhaps not seen (nah – they aren’t that big here, but I got the heebie-jeebies)

A magical scene Vikram. Love the colour and the way you’ve framed the ancient tree.

There’s something about trees that always stir my insides. This one is magnificent…. Love the tones in the shot – would love to spend time there too but crocs… well… let’s not go there ;-)

  • If you love trees – you’d LOVE this place ….. all old, old, old big trees!!
BTW – just got told by a cousin who goes fishing there quite often – the crocs here are huge!! (I’m glad I didn’t see any of them!!)
