Taken early in the evening just after the storm clouds had passed – I liked the way the sun lit up only parts of the ground.

This is me digging through old folders. This was one the last shoot I used my D80 on

Nikon D80
Sigma 10-20 At 10mm
f/8 and 1/20 secs
(and it does look like I used a grad ND here)

Nice light indeed :) Great how the wide angle emphasizes the interestingly lit foreground here!

  • Thank you so much Lenka. I love the light that come immediately after a downpour – never fails to be interest.

I got the Sigma 150-500mm OS a little over a year ago … I’m totally hooked!!!!! I was going to get their 105 macro, but the guy at the store talked me into the Nikon … it’s great, but I’m telling you … Sigma does a greeeeeat job!!!!!!!! As evidenced by this gorgeous image!!!!!!
