And having read your narrative…. (heheheh!) maybe this is a good time to reflect upon and be aware of our perceptions and how they can change when we move?!! Too philosophical?!! Love the lighting here too btw, the dark to the light! :)
That’s what struck me. His actual expression was a mix of wistfulness and envy … at the larger boat? or at the fish he was (not) catching? … or that he’d got a staked out bit of the lake for his nets … or maybe he was just doing the same as me … looking to see how many fish were caught.
Such a serene place, a wonderful shot Vikram x
Very true Irene – lovely place – I suppose that’s the main reason this lake has become one of the biggest tourist attractions for overseas visitors down south.
Gorgeous composition, so much peace, wish I was there right now! :)

absolute screamer of a shot mate…love it:))
Cheers Ralph – there was the distinct possibility of falling into the water in my excitement and need to get this angle though …. that would have led to screams!!
Boat envy.. that’s a new one! LOL
Great shot my friend!
Nah – it’s size envy …. an old, old story!!
