Loved the patchwork quilt the sun and shadows from the clouds formed on the land below.

Great shot Vikram!! How long did it take you to get there??
Hi Nat – that depends on where I started from – :-)This is from a month ago – when I’d taken the Henna Hands. This place was about 30 Km from there.Hidden in all that greenery is a road that brings you up from the plains below to about 1500 meters above sea level in about half an hour :-)

Thanks so much Vivek!
breath taking!!! wonderful shot
Thank you so much Robin. Glad you dropped by!Thakns for adding me to your watchlist!
When you get confronted with a scene like this, it is difficult to convey that within the confines of small frame of an image. You’ve done well with this and the depth of the landscape rolling away to that hazy horizon is spot on. Clouds are excellent to top it off. Great work!
Thank you so much Kevin! I dearly wanted to do a stitched pano here! But pests like this one with 2 inch canines didn’t give me a more than a few seconds in each spot and so I couldn’t set it up.
Great shot! what is this place?
Thanks Dinesh – Yercaud.
oh! that place is in my list!! heard its a great place
Not really. It’s too crowded. Lot of other ‘undiscovered’ places to visit! The monkey menace here is only because they’ve got accustomed to people feeding them and totally lost fear (it’s a serious menace).
Now that is a magical shot!words fail me…
Thank you so much Aileen! Now imagine this place early in the morning when the clouds are rising from the plains! I wish I’d been there to see that!!! :-(
Where is this place?
