There certainly was a lot going on in the Vegetable Market – I nearly got run over a couple of times (but hey, a vagueo with a camera is NOT meant to be there)
This is 9:20 AM @ Russell Market (which starts buzzing from 5 AM onwards). One of the oldest markets in Bangalore, Russell Market was built around 1927 and its clientele included English memsahibs who were driven in their horse drawn carriages to source their vegetables and meat for their kitchens.
My second ever visit there (more of a super-market type shopper – I did however, see all the supermarket vans here taking delivery, so I guess I do indirectly buy stuff from here).

Love the vibrancy and movement in the darkness…
Thanks – there’s definitely a vibrancy there. Luckily for me, most of the folk there LOVE being photographed (well almost all of them, a couple said they didn’t want their pic taken so I deleted them).

Wow, would love to do some shopping there for my kitchen too!
LOL!! – The first 4 rows are vegetables, then 3 rows of flower sellers, then a little corridor and you get to the poultry, then mutton, the sea-food, then the more exotic …… camel I’ve been told…

So so cool, Vikram! Love it! :))
Glad you like it Kelly!

I like the light on the clock and the vibrant vegetables. Peoples in movement enhance the static tables of the market.
Thank you so much Carole! – That’s exactly what I was looking to capture.

Oops! Missed out on replying here Shelly! Thank you so much!

Love how you’ve taken this one Vikram, with the light highlighting the vegetables. Well done – great write up too! So did you cook too!!
Thanks Wendi – climbed up to where I don’t think I was allowed to get this. Not 100% happy, but I’ll shoot again there soon.

Love the birds eye view and vibrant colour the movement is special too. great work Vikram!!
Thanks Simone – while I know street and candid aren’t quite your thing, I’m pretty certain most folk here on RB would go nuts with the camera at this market – it’s full of colour, character and movement!
