Bloggers’ Bliss — See our streetwear come to life
Another take of the reflection. It was just so beautiful at that spot ……Emerald Lake (what’s left of it after 2 yrs of no rains), Nilgiris, India Nikon D80Sigma 10-20mm @ 10mmf/10; 1/60 sec; ISO100Hoya CPL
reflection wide mountain india water landscape sky mirror
Love the symmetry of the reflections….and the amazing sky!!
Thanks Wendi – my first bit of reflections (never seen a lake so still).
this is very beautiful :)
This is beautiful, Vikram! So crisp and clear – gorgeous!
Thanks so much Ann.
Wow Vikram…..this is really gorgeous. Great reflections and colours and I love that sky!
Thanks Shelly – as you can see, I really enjoyed myself with the 10-20! Though from the pic, I know whay they say to not use a CPL on a ultra-wide.
Both beautiful and strange at the same time. Colours, comp, sky… beautiful! But knowing there should have been several feet of water extra, makes it a bit awkward to be able to stand there and see what you see. 2 years without rain…
Thanks Peter – this is what you see when you walk about half a click from where I took Burnt (straight into the pic). Wish I’d been able to see it when it was full….
Thanks Pamela – always good to hear from you!
Another wonderful reflection Vikram! I agree with Peter though…fingers crossed that rain does come this year!
Thanks Ursula! I sincerely hope so – but with the heat wave we’ve currently got, I’m afraid it doesn’t look like rain anytime soon.
Wonderful Vikram, the sky and lake reflections are beautiful, contrasted by the zig zag of colour and texture of the land :)
Thank you so much my friend!
gorgeous landscape Vik! what time of the day did you snap this?
Thanks Nic. This was taken late morning – around 10-10:30 AM.
