Climbed to the highest point I could at 6 AM and waited for the sun to do it’s magic – the best shots are in my mind.
clouds, hills, blue, morning, india, landscape, sunrise, mountains
OH WOW!!!! Feels like a bit of heaven, Vikram…. amazing layers in the rolling hills. Beautiful work.
Yes it did. Sat there for a couple of hours drinking it all in before going back down again. I will say though that it was waaay more beautiful than this pic.

The touch of an infinite mystery passes over the trivial and the familiar, making it break out into ineffable music… The trees, the stars, and the blue hills ache with a meaning which can never be uttered in words. Rabindranath Tagore
I can’t utter words that will do this justice, but I will say that I love it Vikram….so worth the early rise and the climb :)
Those are such beautiful words – they more than do this justice! How’d you find Tagore? Once again thank you so much my friend for the thought you put behind your comments – that means a lot to me.
Stunningly beautiful!!! Wow
Thank you so much Sue.
I am always on the look out for lovely words…came across that awhile ago :)
I’ll keep that in mind and send across any that I might come upon.
Love the tones!
Thanks David – glad you liked it!
Now this is what I call a wonderful sight! Magic moment you’ve caught there. Seeing it for real must be even more impressive… lucky you!
Oh yes – the real thing cannot be captured by a camera ever.IT was an awesome sight and this is a poor representation.
WOW I admire your tenacity… 6am? No wonder you get such beautiful shots! You put us lounge lizards to shame… :-)
Thanks George! I have a serious disorder where I wake up bright and early on holidays and can’t get my eyes open on work-days – LOL!!I usually shoot early and get back by 8-8:30 AM so it’s not that it eats into the rest of the day.
FANTASTIC! Love it ( :
Thank you so much – glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much AA! A huge compliment coming from you.
Amazing shot, love the blues and I’m always a fan of mist and fog!
Thanks Eric – the clouds were amazing – a short while later, I was in them!
