Pardon me professor ....?

Pardon me professor ....?

This tested my patience … really did – LOL

Held the glass upside down to fill in smoke. Quickly inverted it and clicked the smoke escaping. So many tries …...

Edited the title after the first comment from Nicollette (PinPix) :-) Used to be “Brimful of smoke”

This is cool Vikram, your smoke experiments produce really good results :)

  • Vikram Franklin replied

Thanks Monika – another unseen result is the number of dirty looks I get at home because of the smell! ;-)

Love it! It’s so different from the other smoke art we usually see. Love the blues. Ha! You were chasing the blues away, and they went up in smoke! ;-)

  • Vikram Franklin replied

    LOL – that’s a line from a bad movie :-)
Yep – felt I needed to have something different from the usual smoke art pics – so from 150+, you have just these 4 (perhaps 5).
Chose to add the blue to compliment the bottom of the glass.

Well, it was definitely worth to keep on trying to get this right! Well balanced shot. It’s hard to get a high ‘success ratio’ with smoke vanishing in the blink of an eye…

  • Vikram Franklin replied

So glad you think so – almost gave up 8-10 shots before this one!

Love how the blue in the base of the glass is echoed in the blue smoke …great idea.
You’re amazing with these glasses…. you’ll have to do a calendar with them and all the different shots! Great stuff! The title makes me LOL!

  • Vikram Franklin replied

Thank you Wendi – always look forward to your comments!
Yeah – I tend to use these glasses as props quite often – should think about the calendar!
