I love how just the edges/sides of the content are revealed, so creative!
Vikram Franklin replied
Thanks Sandy – first tried this with wine and found it too dark. So drank that up and used food colouring in water to get the colour.
monocotylidono
Well done! I really like this new series. Have you set up studio lighting, or are you playing with the off-camera flash?
Vikram Franklin replied
Thanks George – single off-camera flash. Don’t have the space for a studio yet.
Francesca Rizzo
another great one, you are amazing – I like the way you managed the red rim on the glass giving it a feel of wine – brilliance :)
Vikram Franklin replied
Thanks Francesca – the wine-look is exactly what I was looking for

LOL!! Yes – most definitely a perfect partner!!
Gobo’d the window? What do you use in the glass (the liquid)?
Sally Green
hi, dont know what ‘gobo’d the window’ means!! LOL sorry… i used some fruit juice in the glass. x

Gobo = Go Between. So anything that is placed between a background and a light to cast a shadow/block light (I think – LOL!!)
