Feature Friday!

Posted 20 days ago

Today six of my panoramic photographs have been featured together in the group “Theme Tuesday Featured Friday”

I have to say a big “Thank You!” to Joanne for this.

I played her “Theme Tuesday Featured Friday” game, by thinking up a theme, in my case “Against the Sky” and selecting a group of her photographs that fitted with the theme.

In return sh…

So this seems like a good time for a small review of some numbers.

Photographs

I have uploaded a total of ninety photographs in that time. Most of those have been panoramas
But I have also included quite…

Creating a Stereographic Panorama - the Basic Idea

Posted almost 2 years ago

I have a portfolio of panoramic images here.

Most of them are 360° “Stereographic” panoramas, such as the examples above. These are the sort that take a wide view and wrap the horizon around until it meets itself – resulting in an image that looks like a “little planet”.

The World Wide Panorama Project (updated May 2010)

Posted almost 2 years ago

Each quarter the World Wide Panorama Project (WWPP) creates a snapshot of the world in panoramic form, over a particular week.

It started in 2004 as a voluntary effort hosted by the Geography Department of Berkley College, University of California. About a year or so ago it spun off as an independent website administered by a not-for-profit company.

The aim of WWPP is simply to prom…

Very Ireland - panoramic prints of Ireland

Posted almost 2 years ago

Hello folks,

I am new to RedBubble I have uploaded my first two photographs today. They are both square-format 360° panoramic prints from my home town, Derry.

One from the city “Hand across the Divide” is a panorama of a well known local piece of public art by Maurice Harron.

The other “Ness Glen” was taken in a country park a few miles out of town.
