Brilliant …. I joined the Beatles Fan Club in 1964, so I guess I like them a lot :)

  • oh…..how cool ! I’m a huge fan….but I was not aware of the Beatles until just before they split up. My nearest claim to fame is my friends’ father who used to deliver crisps to the Cavern Club when they were playing

I never got to see them, but some friends of mine lived in Dovedale Road, Liverpool, opposite the school John and George had attended as children. I went to visit my friends and was delighted to note that I had to walk past the roundabout leading to Penny Lane then turn into Dovedale Road – a journey John and George would have made frequently. This was in the late 1970s, but earlier I recall going into the NEMS music shop that Brian Epstein once managed. In London I walked across the zebra crossing featured on Abbey Road album.

  • smiles…..that is so cool…..it would be fun to do a magical mystery tour or Beatle historic sites…..but i guess that already happens.
