My name is Katja. I was born in Russia but currently live in UK.
I love to paint and tend to gravitate towards watercolors, but also trying everything available to me and experiment a lot. I have not had any academic training – so I am still trying to find my way, learn new techniques and which materials I want to stick to.
I try not to take anything for granted, I like to doubt and question the “obvious” because when questioned, often it is not “the obvious” anymore

This never adds value to me as a person, or as …
Last day at work before Christmas holidays for me today and with not much to do (I was too efficient in the run-up) and not many people making it in because of the snow, therefore noone to look over my shoulder, I’ve dug out some of my old doodles and sketches and scanning them in today, so if you see lots of work being uploaded – it’s not that I’ve been very productive in…
It was lovely to meet face to face all the bubblers who could make it to the Bubble get-together on Saturday, 12 December. People made a very good effort to come to London from all corners of UK. We met lots of mad (and some sane) photographers on board and a battle of the flashes broke out in the middle of the pub. (Did anyone actually take a picture of that?) / The horrible decease of the camer…
