Very lucky capture really. Had the long fast lens on the Minolta Maxxum 9xi Loaded with 100 speed Slide film. He flew up to a tree branch near me across a river .. And even looked awesome for me for a split second in the right light. I think he was just wonderful to pose for me.

My favorite bird… I can see why you love this shot…. it’s wonderful.

Both my friend. I used to be an eagle in my dreams as a child.. All covered in velvet like feathers all colored like the sunset .. fly fly away to a land of beauty like on RB..

Many rules if you travel on dangerous terms. Normally you have to pack it in a floating waterproof case. The digital cameras that are coming out now can be very small for special dangerous journeys.. Never travel with small children and expensive cameras on a small floating boat.. LOL.. Thanks Mark..

I work at an offloading dock, we offload fish off the boats and we take good care our eagles. You will see that in my pictures. They just love all the free meals. Sealions also.
