Trout Lake Colorado
This is from a trip we took to see my sister .. we were on the road and this called to us ..it had a very fast river coming out of it which crashed downstream for miles. The light was hitting the side of the mountains in spots. Its been a long time ago but the views in this state are amazing. Scanned from 35mm Slide.

Dude! you got me here, I lived about 20 min. by car from this scene, for almost 15 years, its called the Dillon Pinnicals, I have one large pastel of this scene from this very spot. While you are looking at this scene, directly behind you is the largest Ute Indian reservation the the country. Beautiful shot, I’ll send you a pic of my pastel sometime.

Chuck, this is a stunning image … and it does exactly what photographs are meant to do … it recalls for you a lovely memory … takes you back to a place and time that sometimes our little punkin heads can fuzz up and forget about. Magic when we stumble across an image from long ago … what it brings back to us so clearly!!!! Not to mention … SO BEAUTIFULLY!!! This is gorgeous!!! Well done!!!
