well I did make it to work and back aok .. but another round is headed our way with deep cold accompaning it … oh well it is winter,eh? (grin) ... it’s about 15F now with wind chill down around zero (brrr) happy to be inside and warm … (big smile)

G’day Chuck,
Despite the conditions under which you had to work to photograph this little winter scene you have produced a very good quality B&W of these spent and frozen Teasels.
I do feel though that you could make a tighter crop then eliminate any distracting elements which protrude into the frame. This will add impact to the subject and concentrate the viewer’s attention.
Your exposure for the snow is spot on as is your nice sharp focus.

Oh yeah! Getting rid of all the intrusions has worked a treat!
I am in two minds as to whether a tighter crop would add more impact. I leave that decision up to you pal.
Would look good with a white matt and frame hanging on a white wall I reckon.
