The Catch
This Red Tailed Hawk is ready for a meal. I watched him and he I. Then I moved.. He caught this small shrew and it did not suffer really. I was wishing for a sharper image.. My heart was pounding with excitement.. I will share this and let you view it for a time before removing it.. Hope you enjoy it large view.. Forgive me for the focus was off just a touch.. He did not sit still for long during this meal…

Keep in Mind that no one else sees you images the same way you do. I’ve uploaded a couple of shots with the same expectation that you had of pulling it down in a few days, only to find that it got so many positive comments, I’ve had to leave it. sometimes that’s stressful to me because I feel that it’s less than I wanted to have representing my work!

Amazing Colors. My experience with Red Tails is they dont hang out very long once the see me. Other hawks don’t seem to mind my presence as much.
