Thistle is such a lovely flower and it reminds me of the old world for some reason. In that way, it is very special and close to my heart.

Thanks for the info Chuck. I’m interested as I’ve got boxes of slides and would like to scan them to digital but the only time I tried it took forever and the results were rubbish so I sent the scanner back for a refund!! I’ll have a look for the one you name and appreciate your reply.

This does slides and film.. There are many settings.. And the hardest is keeping the slides clean.. But now we have software programs to help the slides with corrections .. Or fade problems.. Hope it helps..

I’ve found the one you mention and it’s not a bad price so may well go for that. Thanks so much for your help.

Excellent capture! First time I saw thistle, was in Cape Breton Nova Scotia. Now I look whereever I go. Actually found some on the west coast in Canada and Washington.
