Hi. My name is Vellu, it’s an Estonian name, and I was born in Melbourne, Australia.
I did formal training as a Potter but have found it difficult to pursue because of my nomadic lifestyle. I still do some at my good friend Malcolm’s place, he’s a full time potter, love his dedication.
My art at present is dedicated to the female form, technicaly speaking, and I am trying to develop a unique style and look of the female nude. I hate straight lines, probably explains my twisted, convoluted journey through life thus far, and find the beautiful curved lines in nature so alluring.
Some one said, “One of the most beautiful things a man will ever see is a nude female.”
