hot tomato retro fruit fine art binary code litho print by

I created a series of three original retro-feeling prints (hot tomato, bad lemon and big apple) and handprinted them with my etching press creating something between chabby chic and abstract looking fruits and one vegetable to accompany them. Hot tomato has burned orange home-grown looking tomato as a main actor and bright yellowish green framing color around it. The binary code writing in the lower box of the image spells h-o-t and this fine quality print out of my original litho is a perfect choice for a wall, that is looking for serious retro colors and style to bring you back to some other era.

Born in Hamina, Finland in 1972, I grew up in a family of handicrafters, earned degrees in technical illustration, gardening, and visual design in marketing communications. I combine a mix of nature, color, and often binary code in my vector graphic, acrylic and mixed media pieces and use photography as my idea bank, especially for pronto plate lithography prints.
