“The True Power of Water” by Masaru Emoto

Emoto’s research has visually captured the structure of water at the moment of freezing and through high speed photography he has shown the direct consequences of destructive thoughts and thoughts of love and appreciation on the formation of water crystals .The revelation that our thoughts can influence water has profound implications for our health and the well being of the planet.

The photogragh taken when water was exposed to the beautiful healing “Blue Danube” waltz by Strauss has become the inspiration for this artwork.

In the early 19th century serious composers turned the waltz into a really sophisticated dance, and in ballrooms of Vienna it spread like wildfire across the rest of Europe and America. It was also the first fashionable dance that required the couples to hold each other round the waist.
We were very inspired by the beautiful sound of the Blue Danube waltz by Johann Strauss 1825-1899. Our planning from the preparation stage to the end result was rewarding. Sometimes we could not put the work down as it seemed we were under a spell and the final completion of the Blue Danube was celebrated when we went out and enjoyed a most rewarding evening together knowing we were the creators of this
Blue Danube crystal.
