The Latin names of my plantscapes are all derived from the species living there. The green and yellow texture surfaces on this painting are inspired by a Lettuce Coral, Agaricia which is commonly found in the Caribbean. The bullio in the title is latin for ‘bubbling’.
I have also made a bronze & glass sculpture based on this painting.

oil on canvas
120×80 cm.
