Simmondsia vitra by Patricia Van Lubeck

Canvas Prints

Available to buy on…

Simmondsia vitra is closely related to the Jojoba shrub (Simmondsia chinensis), pronounced “ho-HO-bah”. Jojoba is native to the Sonoran and Mojave deserts of Arizona, California, and Mexico. Simmondsia vitra however is primarily found in arid urban environments and produces an extremely toxic, oily substance.

oil on canvas
120×80 cm.

Here you can find the picture for my inspiration.

I am born in Amsterdam and currently live an work in New Zealand. My main work is creating oilpaintings. At first sight my recent paintings looks like landscapes, but actually you can see they are human characteristics translated into landscapes.

This is spectacular! I thought it was photoshop because of its pristine clarity. Oil on canvas! Superb! Cheers, RVG
