Hoping For A Cure
Being in the medical field, I have seen some awesome things. Some of it great and some of it very, very ugly. Being a woman, the one thing thats scares my to death is Breast Cancer. That is why I made this pink scarf. I crocheted it for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I know that I made it a few months to soon because Breast Cancer Awareness is not until October. For the whole month of October, I will be wearing this scarf everyday. I am going back to school and yes, I will even wear it to class.
This is one way I can give back to my community, by crocheting hats, scarves, blankets, etc. for the homeless, children with cancer and various shelters.
Thank you for stopping by and viewing this picture. It really means a lot to me and every woman and some men who have survived this cancer.
This picture is dedicated to our fallen sisters, mothers, grandmothers, and daughters!

Beautiful scarf and image. I lost my only sister to breast cancer in 2004. I miss her dearly.

I voted for this in the PostCard Style Challenge as I was the dude who set up the challenge in the first place… I have a Daughter, a Wife, a Sister and a Mother. It scares the crap out of me too! Good work – good shot. This is what I wanted to see in the challenge… Thank You!
