The eclectic insanity of Devin Townsend’s Strapping Young Lad period is perfectly captured in this cartoon-style caricature of the man himself. This shirt provides a loving shout-out to those SYL-influenced Dev-o-philes who secretly lament the passing of Devin’s almighty skullet.
This is a redux design of a shirt I completed in 2000. The original run of T-shirts for one of Devin’s European tours featured a slightly different expression and less advanced colouring techniques than have been employed on this updated design.
