Enjoying a Moment…
Alone, In Quiet…
Here I sit so quietly,
underneath a shady tree.
A breeze blowing soft
through the strands
of my hair.
I don’t know the time
but I don’t really care
In what seemed like a minute
that was really an hour
I sat and just stared
at a beautiful flower.
The wind blew a petal
off into a stream.
I then had awaken
from out of a dream
and still I sat there quietly,
underneath my shady tree.
