Pessimistic

Today wasn’t any different
from oh, so many yesterdays.
Outside the glory of the sun
shining radiant and hot yet,
I feel not it’s entity.
Rather, I feel eccentric and edgy
from the comflict of reality
and my own delirium.

I saw not rays of sunshine
but somehow found myself
in the midst of an enormously
fierce and powerful storm
that knew no restraint.
The darkened, swollen,
congested cloud that was
growing in my head
became torturously painful!

Relief of it’s agony seemed
to be inches out of reach…
my sight slowly grew dim,
vague, almost blind.
A very small portion of the
continuously turning
thoughts from a pessimistic
point of view.
