Viva La Gong, 2009

A highlight of my year is the Viva La Gong celebrations, Wollongong’s Multicultural festival celebrating the diversity and talents of Wollongong and the greater Illawarra.
This year I didn’t make it to the street parade but spent the afternoon in MacCabe Park, Wollongong. It was a really bright and sunny day and there was a real party atmosphere with colourful Circus WOW and Circus Monoxide, grea…
T-shirts - would you buy them?
I’ve spent some time today working on T-shirts from my photos and wondering if there is any real interest in T-shirts with photos on them? From what I can tell it is mostly Illustration designs that sell. Am I wrong in that assumption?
What T-shirts have you bought or sold on Redbubble that feature a photo design?
WINDANG'S CAMP QUALITY CONVOY CONTRIBUTOR DAY

I will be taking part in the Camp Quality Convoy Contributor Day as both a photographer taking photos of the event and donating a photography package for the raffle/auction.
WINDANG has always been a huge participant on CONVOY day each year with huge crowds lining the side/s of the road to wave & wish everyone well as truck after truck roll by.
Recently a group of locals deeply affected by t…

If the weather is nice I will be on a bus down to Kiama Seaside Markets and hope to catch up with a Kiama local Maryann who makes jewellery, bags and take some photos of the wonderful markets and seaside location.
On Assignment: Crust Gourmet Pizza opening night in Wollongong
On Thursday October 15th I photographed the Opening Night of the new branch of Crust Pizzas in 53 Crown St Wollongong. I had a great time photographing the many patrons and friends and family of the Crust Pizza Bar owners, business partners and staff.

I was lucky enough to sample some delicious pizza (I am in love with their Mediterranean Lamb Pizza – Drool!) and they have even achieved wha…
Blow out the candle, you're a step closer to the grave... or being scattered over Shellharbour beach, in my case
Yes, I am 38 today and feeling very old. Of course that could be because I was working for 24 hours on a paying photography job photographing the opening of Crust Gourmet Pizzas in Wollongong (next to Oxford Tavern) and then editing the images on a laptop that had a full hard drive and had slowed to a crawl, with internet so slow you’d think it was dial-up. But I digress…

I need your help
They say that as few as five beta testers are needed to find most of the problems with a website. Could you please have a look at my website and let me know what you think could be improved?
My favourite dining experiences of the Illawarra
Illawarra Food Reviews – Top 5 dining experiences in the Illawarra
When I signed up with “myTaste.com.au”http://www.mytaste.com.au/user.php?action=revie... (a food and restaurant review site) I was asked to list my top 5 dining experiences. I have decided to share them here with some illustration as to why I rate them so highly.
Photo sales via Fotolia
I love Redbubble for print sales of my photos but I’m also a fan of Fotolia stock photography agency. Several of my food photos have been very popular, such as a photo of sushi which has been used in menus and articles on Japanese cuisine.
