Viva La Gong, 2009

Posted about 1 month ago

A highlight of my year is the Viva La Gong celebrations, Wollongong’s Multicultural festival celebrating the diversity and talents of Wollongong and the greater Illawarra.

This year I didn’t make it to the street parade but spent the afternoon in MacCabe Park, Wollongong. It was a really bright and sunny day and there was a rea…

T-shirts - would you buy them?

Posted about 1 month ago

I’ve spent some time today working on T-shirts from my photos and wondering if there is any real interest in T-shirts with photos on them? From what I can tell it is mostly Illustration designs that sell. Am I wrong in that assumption?

What T-shirts have you bought or sold on Redbubble that feature a photo design?

On Thursday October 15th I photographed the Opening Night of the new branch of Crust Pizzas in 53 Crown St Wollongong. I had a great time photographing the many patrons and friends and family of the Crust Pizza Bar owners, business partners and staff.

Posted 2 months ago

Of course that could be because I was working for 24 hours on a paying photography job photographing the opening of Crust Gourmet Pizzas in Wollongong (next to Oxford Tavern) and then editing the images on a laptop that had a full hard drive and had slowed to a crawl, with internet so slow you’d think it was dial-up. But I digress…

Another year olde…

They say that as few as five beta testers are needed to find most of the problems with a website. Could you please have a look at my website and let me know what you think could be improved?

Photo sales via Fotolia

Posted 2 months ago

I love Redbubble for print sales of my photos but I’m also a fan of Fotolia stock photography agency. Several of my food photos have been very popular, such as a photo of sushi which has been used in menus and articles on Japanese cuisine.
