Kawasaki Bridge at Wollongong Botanic Gardens - ghost
The Kawasaki bridge was a gift to Wollongong, NSW Australia from its ‘sister city’ of Kawasaki, Japan. The vibrant red bridge is a much loved tourist attraction in the Wollongong Botanic Gardens located in Keiraville near the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music and the University of Wollongong.
This image had some blown out areas and when editing it I decided to experiment with different textures, settling on a canvas texture by ghostbones

Without mystery, there can’t be questions. How ingeniously this texture implies a mysterious quality that causes me to question the feelings it triggers. And you’ve reinforced the emotional curiousness of this instant with such an interesting palette painted over compelling forms. Thanks.

wow – suoperb texture, lovely colour (even the duck’s beak is red like the bridge – now that’s what I call colour coordinating!) and just a great treatment. love it!
