Scruffy is absolutely not aware of the fungi in the forest, and our other dog Dottie is not either. We always have to be careful when making an image that they don’t step on it. They can run right in front of me, not knowing what we are doing. The only thing they have an interest in is running through the forest after whatever they smell. Never catching anything.
Today it was very wet and a lot of leeches, almost scary. Used a lot of salt today. On ourselves and the dogs. They were crawling all over our car seats. Had to stop several times because of screams next to me Ha, ha yes, my daughter ;o))) This off course when she spotted another leech.

Looks like Scruffy is living up to his name. I would probably react the same way as Emily.

  • He was so wet, Margaret. ;o)) What makes him look more scruffy. Yes, I do not like them either. And have to try to be brave hum not always though. Thanks Margaret, cheers Esther

    hi Esther,
Great picture with a story to match !Leeches…..very,very creepy and they really make you bleed a lot when they attach themselves to you. It’s lovely to see Scruffy here enjoying himself. Dogs always look so happy, don’t they.
    Best Wishes to you all,
