Very dramatic stuff – love the colour palette (nice and subtle), and the heavy shadows really help sell the sense of despair. You look like you may be a fan of Mike Mignola (one of my own artistic heroes), if not, I recommend checking his stuff out.

sloppy works well… this has more feel than a sterile inky DC style comic… great use of white btw…
great use of shadow.. .altho you already know that! :P
would love to see this takin’ to the next level.. .maybe a huge canvas print of some mad scientist epic castle etc… or even a series of cell like frames showing a story :D
