Wow, your work is always incredible. The lace looks so real. Such emotional is the eyes. The sun rays in the left corner, the shadows on the rocks, the lighting on her skin…it makes is all look so real. Such amazing talent.

Van you will never cease to amaze me with your mastery of art…..this is absolutely stunning even for being almost as old as myself, your art reminds me of my most favored artist Boris, your creativity has no bounds….Bravo my amazingly talented friend!

wow, I just love what you wrote in accompniment to this magnificient work of art and must say that I have to agree with you. Whilst I’m not the biggest fan of realism, it has occured to me that if you mix realism with impressionism then you get something rather colourful but also relateable to your viewers and potential customers.

So sometimes I like to really saturate the colours I see caused from the light source and reflections while other times I keep them a little more subtle but create a deeper, more colourful background to bring balance.

See, I do know SOME things lol. But not much really compare to your skill. But you know what? What I really appreciate about you is your great enthusiasm for a broad variety of art and artistic expression. I’m with you in that. I love originality and the effort and mind behind such.

Incredible!!!! I have done plenty of “copying” and found that I could not get it to look exactly like the photograph. My porportions were off and some of the detail left off. I had to face the fact that I am not as talented in that area as I would like to be. I can onlyimagine being able to do what you do. This really is amazing, Van. And yes, it looks like she in a photograph.
