A beautiful double rainbow appeared after severe storms moved through my area in northeastern Kentucky!
The only way to capture some of it (because it was so big) was to move from where I was standing. I had to climb on top of a very big hill, then stand behind some trees to get a decent shot of the rainbow.

lol van! just keep tking the tab, er pictures! by the way, when you see a double rainbow, the paler one is a reflection of the first. i see them quite often here, and i have seen a triple. never had the cam tho! lol!

  • LOL Dougie! It was a steep hill I had to climb at that! LOL!
You are so right about the double rainbow dear, and I also
found out that the bright, primary rainbow shows the spectrum of colors running from red, on the outside of the bow, to blue on the inside. The fainter, secondary bow is seen outside the primary bow with the colors reversed from their order in the primary bow.
