THE VISITOR
There is a visitor you see who comes here every night,
He haunts the grounds of Central Park, some say he looks like light,
He walks for hours and never stops, they say he is a ghost,
So I went there in early ‘morn, my quest to see him most.
The dawning of a brand new day would come in just one hour,
I rushed to find this visitor who many said had power,
If only I could catch one glimpse, a single look or two,
Then I’d capture his photograph and show it here for you.
So through the foggy, misty morn, just over from the pond,
I saw a mystery light appear, before the break of dawn,
I could not scream or shout out loud, I trembled from such fear,
All I could do was look and shoot his picture you find here.
Some say he is an old, old ghost, who walks the park at night,
He haunts the grounds of Central Park, some say he looks like light,
So come to Ashland and you’ll see, just what I mean and more,
When you see with your frightened eyes this special visitor!

Actually, I just remembered yesterday I had this amazing
image & spent hours trying to locate it:(....I thought that a
poem would help to tell part of a story that is passed on to
generations about a ghost in Central Park, and they say it
is really the truth that several of them walk the grounds all
night long. The park however is a beautiful, incredible
place, and it used to stay open all night long. But now the
gates are locked at 10:00 PM and don’t open back up unitl
7:00 AM daily, in order to keep people out of the park at
night !!!xx
