The old man in the sky

The joy of digital means you don’t have to run out to buy a film, thus risking losing the shot altogether. I looked out of my window last week to find this old fella resting in the sky, “click” he now exists forever, and not just for that fleeting moment. Not sure about human AND nature, more like human IN nature. Oh, ..and i left the rooftops in the corner just to give some perspective. i love the contented smile, the fact that you can see the curl on the end of his moustache, and his round nose complete with nostrils, a defined brow and even his upper and lower eyelids, so unreal but so real. lucky me.

    thanks “D” (if that IS your real name????) yeah i looked out of my window and there he was so i ran for my camera. i always look for “things” in the clouds but this is so far, and by far my favorite. ..glad you like it.

    Thank Ginny, i’m continually looking at the sky for anomalies as they are quite a common occurance, i’m just lucky i looked during the three or four minutes that this fella existed for, not a long life but now captured for people to look at forever.

    I am always looking too. They usually only last a minute or so when you do see something like this. I have a gorilla somewhere in my files. But “THIS” is truly an amazing capture. I want to Feature it! :))

    grab it while you can is my motto, i’d love it to be featured, believe it or not it’s in 11 different groups including a cloud group and a skyscapes group but no feature?? ahh well mustn’t grumble eh? x

    Thank you very much for your “wowzaaaa” Pat, this pic taught me two lessons, 1. ALWAYS have your camera ready and close at hand, and 2. ALWAYS look up at the sky, you just never know what, or who, is hiding up there. : )
