Big Sun, Little Lighthouse
Beyond “Little eye” the smaller of the three islands just off the top of the wirral peninsula, I walked out as the sun was slipping silently behind the lighthouse, which is in fact on Talacre beach in North Wales. I love the way the sunlight is shining through the glass lighthouse top.

CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve been featured in Photo’s of Lighthouses
Really love this shot DNP. I’ve been to Talacre a few times. Its a great view from the Wirral of this lighthouse – we’re very lucky to have such great views – not to mention that the sun sets over that way too! Well done…

oh cheers Pete, always nice to have a peice appreciated, and you being from the Wirral too, i just looked at your page, some brilliant stuff there and it’s great to see some old “friends”, the Talacre lighthouse and the New Brighton lighthouse too, feel free to peruse my pics to see my take on the same subjects, also a few of Hilbre island, one of my favorite places. oh, and thanks again.
