devastating Perth fires in the NE & SE….
perth fires news update 070211
so far 41 homes lost, 100s under threat, firies being brought in from other towns to support metro emergency services re fire fighting. eastern states sending large fire fighting planes or choppers.
please spare a thought for all those working hard to fight the fires, supporting the emergency services & all the people who have had to evacuate, who’ve lost their homes & properties…& please let’s hope that the easterly winds change to westerlies, so that the fire burns itself out!!!

thanks kym we are fine, we are in the north east of perth but we are getting a lot of smoke smell here & some ash, not as much as the last 2 days. but you never know, the winds are fast & erratic. nature is kicking australia’s ass right now!
