Secrets

Everybody has secrets

People hide them away
To keep themselves safe

If you share your secret with another
You’ve really let that secret go

No one cares about real fairness
No one cares about themselves

No one really keeps other peoples secrets
‘All is fair in love and war’

Not all secrets are about love
Some are about Hurt

These are the ones
We tend to keep to ourselves

I’ve said a lot about no one
But what about every one?

Everyone feels alone sometimes
But they never really are

There will always be some one willing to be there
Even if you haven’t met them yet

Though almost always the ones who say
‘I’ll always be there for you’

Are the one’s
Who never seem to be

So if you’re going to be that person
Don’t tell me

Just be that person
Keep that secret

Everybody has secrets

Some they keep from others
Some they keep from themselves
