220 views so far..this was our Pub ‘The Langley Wherry Inn’ Norfolk UK, we used to run & had lots of fun lol! ..it’s an11th century coaching Inn & the Abbey across the way has 14 Knights buried upside down in the grounds(apparently they buried them like that so they were ready?) ...anyway there was an old tale of a tunnel from the pub to the abbey the smugglers used from the Dyke off of the river Yare…well I never found it but know there were plenty of ghosts woohoo lol! watercolour/gouache on hot pressed paper …original is sold. ... .. ...

    Lovely old inn, being a pub keeper does sound like fun. I grew up in an old revolutionary war house here in the states and it did have an underground tunnel going to the house next door. We use to explore it as kids.. lot of ghost tales too!
